ZOTUP is a sponsor of the 23rd BergamoScienza Festival 2025

We are proud to support the 23rd edition of BergamoScienza, taking place in Bergamo from 3 to 19 October 2025, dedicated to the theme “IN-FORMAZIONE. Quanta and life”. A Festival that makes science accessible to everyone with free conferences, exhibitions, workshops and shows.

The BergamoScienza Festival is a science outreach event founded in 2003 that each year engages the city and province of Bergamo with a rich programme of initiatives exploring scientific and technological topics across many fields. Its primary goal is to make science accessible to everyone, especially young people and schools, by offering numerous conferences, exhibitions, workshops and shows free of charge. Now in its 23rd edition, the Festival has far exceeded 3,642,557 attendances, with 37 Nobel laureates and more than 1,985 guests taking the stage.

What to expect this year

2025 is the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ2025): the Festival will explore the role of information as the structure of reality — from the genetic code to digital infrastructures, from the laws of physics to the languages of culture. Formats include: Parliamo di Scienza (talks), Sperimentiamo la Scienza (workshops), Che Spettacolo la Scienza (shows) and activities for schools using peer-to-peer education.

Installations and art in the city

Planned public installations by artist Stefano Bombardieri — including “Struzzo Rubik” and “Trottola” — to bring the language of science into urban spaces.

Schools, youth and volunteers

The Festival thrives thanks to thousands of volunteers and the WeScience network (under 30). Strong focus on Schools with PCTO and hands-on learning: every year hundreds of institutes design and lead activities for the public.

Sustainability

BergamoScienza is a signatory of the Climate City Contract and promotes concrete actions (e.g., upcycling projects since 2023). The format “20e30, puntuali!” fosters dialogue between science, institutions and enterprises on the UN 2030 Goals.

Dates to remember

  • 3–4 October 2025 — La Scuola in Piazza.
